famous
primarily as a winter resort, is certainly no less attractive
in summer. Clear, fresh alpine air can be enjoyed amidst the
impressive mountains. Countless hiking trails take one through
rugged and romantic countryside, past serene mountain lakes
and gurgling brooks, where one can enjoy a barbecue over an
open fire at Isla - all these elements create a bond with
nature. Here all seems to be right with the world and at 1,700
metres above sea level one can almost touch the sky.
Typical for this altitude, depending on the weather, temperatures can vary
considerably between hot and cold. At this altitude, when the sun shines, the
sky is bluer than anywhere else; when it rains, snow is never far away. Every
year, students are impressed by the spectacle of nature created by the
constantly changing weather situation.
